INTRODUCING...PINPRINTS!

For years I have been producing and selling fine art prints. That was fun!
Last year, however, I started playing around with producing enamel pins. That was fun, too! But then, I had all these art prints that just kinda hung there on the wall lookin’ all lonely, and now I have all these enamel pins that I just throw in a drawer, and the look all lonely, too!

“So….” I said out loud to my dog, Harvey, “What if I played the role of Brundlefly and COMBINED the two with science!?” 

Theoretically, that should be the MOST fun, right?  YEP! I WAS RIGHT! IT WAS! I DID IT! AND IT WAS DOUBLE FUCKING FUN! PLUS, MY PINS AND MY PRINTS ARE FINALLY UNITED AS A BRAND NEW PRODUCT CALLED
“PINPRINTS”: The ONLY fine art prints that you’re encouraged to put holes in! And I am SO excited to finally share these!
 

Each PINPRINT is screenprinted on an 11” x 14” canvas by Bear Designz, and includes a wooden dowel, 2 hand-varnished dowel caps, and a leather string, all pre-assembled by (MY) hand.

PIN-GAME CATCH UP TIME!

After time-traveling into the 24th (and a half) century and getting a hold of a state-of-the-art shrink-ray from my old friend, Marvin the Martian, I have been having a helluva fun time shrinking down my paintings into collectible pins so that you can turn your jacket (or your skin, ya creepo) into a little mini art gallery that can be appreciated by beings of all sizes! Tiny gnats get to gaze upon giant enamel monuments on your chest, while Frankestein-sized humans get to laugh at your minuscule little “baby badges”. Regardless, pins make people smile when they see them. 

Over the past few months, I have released a handful of enamel pins and to my cow-like “udder delight”, they keep selling out! I guess people like stabbing their clothes more than I thought! I think that’s amazing. So, in preparation for some really new exciting pin stuff coming up soon, I wanted to re-print some of my recent pins so that hopefully you can have a chance to scoop up anything that you may have missed recently. 

This coming Monday, Feb 6th, after you are possibly recovered from your 7-layer nachos and also 9-layer nachos and whatever else you absorb on Super Bowl Sunday, I will be re-releasing a bunch of enamel pins, including a brand new one, “GUILTY SMURF” exclusively on alexpardee.com

2016 was rough for some, and even rougher for others, so I wanted to start off 2017 with my (b)right foot forward!
I was going to wait to do this later, but being spontaneous and feeding off of positive feedback and excitement is going to be a theme for me in 2017, so why not start TONIGHT??

BLEAK FRIDAY IS COMING!

According to a lot of movies, gathering the entire community together for an elaborate dance-party is the best kind of fundraiser, but since Mr. Bleak needs my help, and I lack the agility skills needed to whip or nae-nae, let alone host any kind of dance PARTY, I am going for a slightly different approach to save Mr. Bleak’s cemetery (also his HOME) from being destroyed by the city so they can build a dumb Virtual Reality Shopping Center, leaving him (and over 200 peaceful corpses) without a stone to rest his head. 

Starting THIS FRIDAY, November 25, at 12:01am EST (Midnight Thanksgiving Night), and ending December 2, I will instead try to sell enough shirts, pins and “Dicks”, to help Mr. Bleak buy the imaginary graveyard from the imaginary city and live happily every after! But even if we don’t raise enough to buy the graveyard, we are going to try to help out the Earth a little! For every order over $50, Mr. Bleak and I will donate $5 to the National Resource Defense Center to fight climate change and pollution and help the environment be safer for humans, animals, rocks, plants, glaciers, and even the corpses in Mr. Bleak’s graveyard!
